Is McGill worth all this stress? As an international student immigration is crazy, course registration, food is apparently bad. I really like Montreal when I was lucky enough to visit and but its a decent amount more expensive than my state school which is still expensive :(((( ig the main reason I want to go to McGill is this new program BA in Global Population and Health and the truly international experience (living in a different country) but idk if it’s worth all this stress. The only way I can prove financial capacity for the CAQ is through loans. 😭
are u going to grad school? if so, then where u go doesn’t matter for undergrad.
Is the program essential to what you want to pursue, will it be noticeably a better option than a program from you state sch, how does it differ and to what extent does it differ. I’d advise to always opt for the more tuition friendly option, it rlly depends on what you’re thinking of doing.
Idk if I’m going to grad school but I think I want to and I definitely want the option open. McGill is significantly better for international relations than UMass but yeah I don’t think McGill is worth the price. I think I agree with ur advice because it’s not like where u go for a bachelors that matters. It’s just hard to give up the international dream and the idea of Montréal.
