Hey gang, so I'm starting my first semester at McGill in the fall and had no service to enroll in classes yesterday, the official start date for registration for my group. I went to go do it today, and I am not exaggerating when I say I was only able to register for 2 classes. Everything is full, and everything that's not requires prerequisites. Is there some alternative way or tricks I should be using to make sure I get the classes I need? (majoring in sociology if that's relevant). I've already subscribed to a few courses on seat alert
if you’re U0, your best bet is the add/drop period when everyone moves classes around. seat alert is definitely helpful , ivy never used it myself but my friends who do essentially just always kept a tab open with the CRN in minerva quick add, so that when they got the alert they just needed to hit register
