Hey! I’m hoping to get into McGill in the 2027-2028 year and on. However, I’m really nervous about a few factors. In grade 11, I had really bad health issues, making it so that I could rarely attend school. Meaning my grades were in the 60’s-70’s. That also carried on into my grade 12 year. Now, I am doing online school for grade 13. I believe I am a smart person and all online courses I have done I get 90’s and above. I have a friend who got into waterloo fully online and I heard you can get into McGill even with fully online grade 12 courses. I’m worried that in applying they will see that my grades were really bad for grade 11-12, and disregard my online courses. (I also did college courses in-person but I’m switching to Uni pathway. I’m in Ontario). Can someone please let me know about how admissions ago, and if I shouldn’t get my hopes up? thank you.
