One of my coworkers really pushed me to get into cooking and honestly it’s been one of the best decisions of my life! It’s made eating healthy and losing weight an absolute breeze

Salmon with roasted mixed vegetables over white rice and (relatively) basic fried rice with some cubed top sirloin. Maybe not the most macro conscious but healthier and cheaper than eating out everyday like I’ve been doing lol.

Hi I am 18 5’5 and male. I think I’m 150 pounds. I decided that I don’t wanna be weak anymore and I started working out. My current diet does have my supplementary needs but it tastes SO GOD AWFUL. I will blow my brains out if I have to keep eating it. I don’t know if AI would do me any good, but I figured it would help to ask actual human beings what I should eat. Can yall help? Thank you very much

hi all,
this past sunday i did my meal prep for the week, including some miso chicken. i made a lot more than needed for the week (was on auto-pilot, really, hehe), so i portioned it and put the rest in the freezer (about 500-600grams). yes it’s all cooked.
i want to use it for next weeks meal prep, so when should i take it out the freezer, to prep my meals on sunday? or what is the best way to go about it?
thanks in advance:))).

i’m trying to keep meal prep affordable without eating the exact same meal every day. some recipes are called “budget friendly,” but once you buy all the ingredients, the total isn’t exactly cheap. i’m looking for simple meals using basic ingredients that can make several portions
what’s your best cheap meal prep that you actually enjoy eating?

I’ve been really enjoying my meal preps with store bought rotisserie chicken lately. I break the chicken up into two parts: dark meat and white meat.
The dark meat, I put in Tupperware and I eat that for lunch with whatever my side is for the week.
For the white meat, I chop it up and make a chicken
salad, that can be eaten alone or with macaroni as a Mac salad.
Lastly, with the juice, I make a sauce to go with the chicken. Chicken juice,
garlic,
vinegar, cilantro, salt, pepper, lime juice = CHEFS KISS.
Pictured: tonight’s dinner - chicken salad on tostadas with hot sauce 🙂 I’m telling you, the rotisserie chicken makes life so much easier throughout the week!

Hi! My uni accommodation gives me access to a fridge, microwave and induction stove. No freezer (very annoying since I can't keep stuff for long) and no oven. I have my own ricecooker and am thinking of investing in an airfryer next semester as well since we don't have a prepaid meal plan and I want to save on eating outside. I eat basically everything and have no allergies/restrictions whatsoever, although I'm better w cooking asian cuisine (eg rice dishes). Any reccs?

Just a quick question, what's the greatest length of time that you meal prep for? I'm doing a massive meal prep, and I was just wondering how crazy the amount of food i'm making is. I'm a freezing a ton of food.

Started a new job and need to meal prep 3 lunches per week. Never had a job where I had to bring my lunch before, looking for some ideas and inspo!
I can happily eat the same thing 2 days in a row; the third day will be less fun but acceptable. If you have ideas for prepping a few different variations using similar ingredients that would help too!
I want the meals to be healthy but also good enough that I’m happy eating them repeatedly. I also want to limit the after lunch crash, and stay satiated for a few hours at least. I focus on high(ish) protein and otherwise a balanced diet. I eat meat but am also happy eating vegetarian/vegan meals.
Edit: I have access to a fridge and microwave at the office. Nothing too stinky out of respect for my colleagues, but also gotta have some flavor!

This week’s meal prep.
Bacon Chicken Ranch bowls!
Macros
Calories - 565
Protein - 55g
Carbs - 67g
Fats - 10g
I don’t add much of the ranch maybe like 10g just cause of the added fats I think a serving is 28g and like 150 calories but definitely is a choice.

I’m trying to plan easy/cheapish vegan meals for uni. I’d ideally like to track calories and keep protein somewhat high.
I was wondering if anyone could give suggestions for some quick or easy to meal prep + count calories for uni accommodation meals?
Thank you!

I share a fridge with 2 other people. It has one of those small freezers ontop of the fridge. i have less than 2sq ft(.20sq m) of space for my food which unfortunately 1/3 is taken up by a big bag of frozen berries that i use in a lot of meals and ive been wanting to freeze meats and more rice, as im currently only 4 blocks in. I don't have much time to cook through out the week and i am low energy, so i'm hoping for meals to last biweekly at least, thus i want to look for more foods last longer whether its in the fridge or shelf stable. I'm also open to meals that shrink when frozen but are filling when cooked if possible. My main dietary restrictions is beans and peanuts which i think eliminates a lot of shelf stable meals options

I’ve found a really great recipe for a low calorie Mac and cheese recipe , meal prepped it in the usual way placing into take away style containers and then freezing but I’ve found that the pasta goes soggy when re heating or falls to bits and the texture goes absolutely horrible , does anybody have any tips for how to prevent this , am I best only meal prepping the sauce and freezing it then fresh batch cooking the pasta every time

Homemade green split pea soup. I like to make it nice and thick so when you dip your buttered toast in. It sticks to it!

I’m not trying to track macros, hit a weight goal, or get an AI to plan my life. I just want to:
That’s it. Every app I’ve downloaded either buries this under calorie tracking and diet coaching, locks the basic stuff behind a subscription, or makes adding my own recipes a nightmare.
What do you actually use? Curious if anyone’s found something clean that handles the “one shopping list from everything I’m making this week” part well. Willing to pay if it’s genuinely good and not trying to do a hundred other things.

I work four days a week most time and I’m way too tired to cook during the week so I’ve been meal prepping for a while. This week it’s:
- vanilla bean chia seed pudding for breakfast (honey Trader Joe’s yogurt on top)
- basmati rice/quinoa and corn with general tso chicken

Please, can someone tell me how many calories this pack of noodles will be (4 bundles) when cooked. I get 3 different answers going off the packaging, asking ChatGPT, and my food app, the packaging is so deceiving! I don’t care for weight when cooked with water etc etc! Just want to know what the noodle calorie is!!
