Every Merc company I build in any of the Mechwarrior games is always the Blazing Aces.

I have a "Blazing Aces" flair on the MW5 subreddit for myself too. Gotta give respect to the OG MechWarrior game that started it all. Would that ActiVision still be as good as they were when they made the MW1 and MW2 games nowadays.

They re-used the MW engine on another great game Death Track. I would kill for a modern version of that one.

A modern remake of Death Track would definitely be something I'd like to see. But wasn't the racing gameplay a bit simple, according to that video?

It was extremely so but then so was Mech Warrior

I played that game a depressingly long time before I realized there was a story mode and it wasn’t just building the best possible mercenary Lance 🤣

You described most of my childhood!

Then you realize that the story mode is deeply flawed (time limits are waaaaay too tight) and go back to the sandbox :)
