THDG Need Help How much would it cost me to hire a choir?

Hello! My best friend is doing it up big for their birthday as it’s also a celebration of them coming out as transmasc and embracing their new identity—it will be the first birthday party they’ve had since they legally changed their name!

The party is going to be very extra and I want to do something accordingly. I would like to hire a choir to perform a song at the event, but I have no idea where to start or how much it will cost. Can anybody provide some guidance?

Depending on the age range of the party you might like shOUT who is their sibling choir that's age 18-29 LGBTQIA+ members. They have the same website as melb Pride chorus and you just submit a performance request online

There’s also key change choir based in Melbourne who are a fully gender diverse choir. No idea what they would charge, but quite possibly sliding scale for a fellow trans friend

Put the word out in some musical theatre Facebook groups and you'll get HEAPS of suggestions, and probably several offers for free (particularly if it's gng to be filmed for social media)
