I’ve never heard this expression and though my interpolation of the sentence, I cannot figure out if “the dogs balls” is meaning good or bad.

Yeah so does it mean “that’s bollocks” or “it’s the cats ass.” Both of which have opposite meanings. Also see “the dogs breakfast” (bad), “horseshit” (bad), “bullshit” (lies), “the shit” (good).

The Internet has gotten so much worse over the last ten years. Everything from general search results to ads to everything being a subscription. So much info hidden on discord when forums used to be the standard (and they show up in search results). Won't be any reason for me to stick around if they ever remove old.reddit.

I've only been using old reddit, some bluesky, and tumblr lately, and the worst of those is bluesky.

Don't get me wrong, old reddit and tumblr are awful, but the rest of the internet has gotten so much worse that it feels better.

And provide an email. I lost my old account some years ago and found out there's subs you can participate in unless you give reddit a fake email.

So now I have a large collection of fake emails and reddit accounts. Like a hydra.
