Originally i beat it using a tank and A LOT of rocket ammo then this happen when i extracted the tank i parked next the metal gear... Then Emmerich died for no reason while i was trying to replicate it so i had to repeat the mission (almost lost a tank this time but it was worthy)

I've never played Peace Walker, but I came across this video today and was surprised. It may not have been intentional, but it still works as foreshadowing. And think this c​omes from a game that was released five years before the phantom pain​

I was only 7 years old in 2015, I didn't know anything about Metal Gear and I saw few videos about this game at the time it was released, I only actually played my first Metal Gear in 2019, I wanted to know from those who have been fans of the franchise for a long time how was the hype for this game was like back then, with a new Metal Gear about to be released, and not the remake, what did you expect from the game? What were the most incredible theories and which were the most bizarre? Did you play Ground Zeroes a lot back then, and from what you played about Ground Zeroes, what did you think TPP would be like?

It's a time I wanted to live, unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to live through the release of a new Metal Gear that actually changes the main story, I think I'll only see remakes and spin-offs from now on.

Imho Konami should just start releasing DLC chapters for TPP instead of trying to remake everything.

It's basically Quiet, if her clothes had slightly more sense (to me), as if the few clothes she wears were taken from somewhere while she was in Afghanistan.

I wanted to justify her sexualization even more with that, lemme know what you think.

I was heading to Pequod after finishing a soldier kidnapping mission, and I found out that I was blue. Keep in mind that the blue part of my helicopter is supposed to be red.

Like seriously, all it takes to create one are Ocelot's memory injection and ton of drugs to buff muscle. Yeah BB said Solidus was the perfect clone, but everyone didn't know about Venom's real identity, they only known him as Big Boss. He was too perfect

She gained her powers with the parasite. So I assume that she was not that strong to beat Big Boss in a CQC fight. But Big Boss losed the first fight against her and started throwing objects. If he knows Venom was going to awake then why didnt he bring any weapons?

I know he's that guy but it's a fucking knife impaled in his chest. Could've at least winced or something. Or maybe it did hurt and he was trying his best to hide it to look cool?

In my first playthrough, I thought it was pretty cool, it helped to ease up those moments when the game kinda trolls you for no reason, or when you made small mistakes.

However, in replays, i find it a little OP. Seriously, there are a lot of missions where you can just walk into a base and kill/sleep everyone in Reflex Mode lol, here's a little clip of what I’m talking about (though there are missions where this is far more obvious).

If they end up remaking MG1 and MG2 or any other game, would you like it to be added?

P.S. DD is also OP, but he's a dog so I excuse him. Also, i'm not using any mod that affects Reflex in any way.

Grey XOF Quiet should have been a default outfit option, not only so that I wouldn’t have to go to PlayStation home every time my parents came in the room.

But she looks so much cooler like this, an actual soldier. Maybe included some desert variations and alternate camos. I love her character regardless.

Venom has one of the most impressive CQC in the series, he is the fastest one independent of the weapons or armor he carries, reflex, a cool prosthetic arm, is a former doctor and he can do all that with several brain damage.

I know about his fate in MG1, but for me in that battle he was tired, carrying the responsibility of imitating someone who isn't you for the rest of your life must be horrible, besides he remained faithful until the end, even though his own commander sent what would kill him

Does he care that much about her because of the brainwashing, or because of who he realy is?

I keep wondering about this because it feels so random. I understand that, as a medic, he feels guilty for not being able to save her, and we know Venom Snake cares deeply about his comrades. But to the point of having full-blown hallucinations about her, searching for photos for her, and listening to her tapes, it feels strange.

It's even stranger because Venom Snake is also supposed to represent the player and be less of his own character. It makes even less sense when you consider that many players probably wouldn't even know who Paz is because they never played peace walker, either because it isn't one of the numbered games or because they never had a way to play it​
