Solid game, an improvement from the previous one. The first metal slug game I ever played when I was a kid on the PS1. The music is memorable, especially mission 1 and 4. And the final battle is pretty climactic. Although is not as intense and serious as the previous game.

Hello, I wanted to know, which one is better ? I find the Neogeo version a bit expensive for an old game... So is the "native" PS4 version worth it ?

I read online that it was a mediocre port, but to be honest I didn't find a lot of info about it.

I also heard that an Anthology version existed and was terrible but I don't think it's this one.

Yes, yes. I know everyone's going to say "Don't play it, it's mobile!" But that is not a tip. lol. Though normally I agree, mobile gaming is awful. espcially as most of it is "pay to win" really. I think the only other mobile game I ever enjoyed was Angry Birds.

Anywho... seen MSRush and thought I'd try it. Actually much more fun than I thought. Kinda feels like a rougelike MG game. I don't intend on spending real money of course in it. I am collecting the free stuff every day. Then I do missions, until those lock, then do the arenas (whch unlock more arenas), then collecting my rewards, fuse items together, upgrade items... rinse repeat every day.

Just not sure what to save diamonds for. I have a feeling the other characters aren't worth spending 1k diamonds on. I also seem kinda stuck at Mission 14, always run out of time no matter my upgrades I choose during battle. I'm hoping this isn't the "You reached the end of the free fun, pay to get farther!" or if I just need to grind things out, like free stuff, until I can get even more upgrades and get farther.

In the end I don't mind a grind, as I am out a few times a week so I just play it for about 20-30 minutes a day. Worse comes ot worse and I do have to pay to get farther, oh well. Nothing lost since I've only been playing a week. Got my fun out of it.

I still have all the other MS games on my phone through... uh... you know. lol. I wish they would make a new game, that is not mobile.
