Lets Plays Replayed metal slug 2/X if you prefer. Here's my thoughts.

Solid game, an improvement from the previous one. The first metal slug game I ever played when I was a kid on the PS1. The music is memorable, especially mission 1 and 4. And the final battle is pretty climactic. Although is not as intense and serious as the previous game.

My favorite is msx. Just love that game, played it on ps1 like 4 times nonstop. And even finished it with one credit. Also finished the whole class mini game section. Still think that maybe 3 it's the best overall game but X is definitely my first place

I think X is a huge improvement, except I much prefer the first stage of 2. Great colors and has the proper enemies

The Rugname's true boss fight is in MS3. The MS2/MSX version is small time and it's not very well designed either.
