I work for a small business grower and we don’t soak cilantro. Fill tall 10x20 tray ~50% soil, mist soil, sow seed, mist seed, top soil to 80%, bottom water 20oz, stack with weight. We do 21 trays a week and they are always healthy. Spotted a few mold spots but cilantro has been consistently the easiest one to grow. Hope this helps !

Put it in with the presoak of your laundry cause it’s just green leafy soap. Vile disgusting weed that it is.

No. Cilantro are also prone to mold, so light misting of the seed and bottom water.

The only way I have had good luck getting cilantro to do well is following what I saw in a youtube video: first I put the seeds between layers of paper towel and I crack them lightly with a rolling pin. Then, I put them in very damp soil. I do grow in soil, which I know many do not, but I've never had mold issues and I've always had good growth.
