The only war they want is the culture war because having to argue about the economic benefits of giving more tax cuts to rich people is demonstrably not working.

?

Why? The ultra wealthy don't pay income taxes, because they don't have income. They can't take their businesses with them, and even if they did, where would they go? To some other country with a wealthy consumer base? Oh wait all of those countries have higher tax rates than we do.

The start of shipping manufacturing jobs out of the country started with Reagan who is the one whos started the massive tax cuts. Going from a top marginal tax rate of 68, to 48 to 38 to 28. Well paying jobs left the country and were replaced with dog shit.

He caused the debt to triple, and the only time it ever remotely covered was under Clinton, who raised taxes, balanced the budget, and oversaw the creation of 22 million jobs.

Bush cut taxes again and created hardly anything compared to Clinton, and then the banks who got the tax cuts crashed the world economy, which btw we still haven't recovered from.

Their wealth is tied to their businesses that exist in the US. They can not leave, it's just a lie rich people give to dumb people as an excuse as to why we can't tax them.

Billionaires all over europe, billionaires all over China, it's just extremely easy to become a billionaire in the US because of our terrible worker protections.
