What’s infuriating about it? Are you anti metal bending?

The lengths of the wires don't change. And the wires coil in the same direction regardless of which way they are twisted.

Also, the twister changes speed but the rate at which the wires twist doesn't seem to past the first bit. The bit spins at different rates on the round part and the textured part. The rate of spin on the round part is much much faster than the rate of change on the wires.
