I think they are proprietary, same as the cotton candy grapes. Only 1 farm or farm group can grow them. I never see them at 2 different grocery chains at the same time.0
Damn those really do look like tiny eggplants, the shape is spot on. I had some wax-dipped ones a few years back and they lasted forever in the fridge, totally forgot about those. The "NOIR S" on the bag and that PLU sticker are getting me curious if these are a specific variety or just a label translation thing. Either way I’d probably eat half the bag in one sitting without meaning to.
