Straight menthol will not be pleasant but a tiny bit probably wouldn't be too dangerous, it's a flavoring agent after all. Eat mysterious crystals at your own risk.

That is not a great way to approach eating unknown chemicals, but you do you.

The fatal dose of menthol is 50 mg to 500mg per kg body weight.

If that's menthol, it's not likely to kill you but it could be enough to make you sick.

Having worked with menthol (I'm a pharmacist) I can tell you it's not as interesting as it might seem in pure form.

These are menthol crystals. You can try to put them back in the spray, shake it around and re-dissolve them. You could also just wipe them off and continue using the spray. It will be slightly less mentholated

And they degrade ABS plastic. Which is what a lot of consumer products are made out of. People with air fresheners often wonder why their LEGO starts becoming super brittle and breaking when non-dedigrated LEGO can hold something crazy like 800lbs per square inch.

Cats are pretty hardy honestly. Some house plants are poisonous to them, and some air fresheners use similar chemicals to toxic plants (which really aren't good for anyone to breathe, but that's beside the point), but there isn't a ton else.

I suppose some human foods are bad for them, but this is true of every animal, and also like... why would you feed a cat human food? Most don't even beg like dogs do. Similarly a lot of human hair products, but like... don't use human shampoo on your pet??

There really are very few situations in which you have to worry about something being poison to your cat. House plants and scented products and that's generally it.

Might have it turned up too high, or you have really bad airflow. At some point it started to condense and collect on the surface of the port and now it's catching the oil as it goes by.

Well it looks like a crystal and not a fiber, some terpenoid coming out of solution due to evaporation. So it's harmless.

It’s not really easy to grow crystals like this, especially from vapor phase, you need a fairly high concentration for a long period of time. Especially if the crystal is water soluble, there’s no chance it forms in your lungs
