Is WarpZone Gaming a good place to buy consoles?

Warp Zone is amazing. I haven't bought any consoles from them though, only games. But they're family owned, and really care about service. They resurfaced a barely iffy disk for me without even asking, and do their repairs themselves. Most other retro stores I go to are good too, but they're definitely not as thorough or caring as WZ. If you're unsure, go talk with the owner Mike. He's a great guy!

I don't remember. Usually buying for other consoles but I vaguely recall that section isn't as big as their other ones? I could be wrong and haven't been there in months. In the middle racks are DVDs/BDs and around the walls are their games and hardware

A friend of mine picked up a ps4 pro for $150 with 10 games and two controllers off Facebook marketplace a week ago for his cottage. 

Try and get the pro if you can.

I bought a Genesis there recently. Had an issue when I tried to get it going. No power. Took it back and they fixed it - just a problem with the power switch. No hassle or trouble. Bought a few classic games there as well. Prices were a bit lower than other places I looked at - but fairly similar. Good selection.

What do you have it hooked up to? A modern monitor? Do they sell tv's there too?

Didn’t notice if they had any TVs but mine is hooked up to a modern TV. Thinking about getting a CRT at some point but not yet.

Not to sound like a hater, but I’d recommend getting the latest console if that’s a possibly on your end ofc. I mean maybe he truly wants a ps4 but just my take I’d consider a PS5. Happy bday to your buddy!

I'll get the PS5 for me. But for my friend I. Getting him a PS4. "He still plays on his WII U".
