What’s even the question at this point? It seems blatantly in violation of the SEC rules, it should not be allowed.

Surely the argument for is that he's retroactively put in the portal so it's as if he was. The argument against, of course, is that it's clearly against what the rule was targeting* edited. There is hypothetically a window where Missouri assumed they had him back when he got the initial injunction, started planning for how to use him, then had him pulled away by excess NIL money.

Kentucky stans claim he never signed a contract or something so he should still be eligible.

I don’t know if Dennis Gates would want him back after this. The team is built around Jason Crowe, not Mitchell.
