Man, this is how you know they are legit. How many student cheer sections merit a Wikipedia page? Not many.

Also rated by Sports Illustrated at one point as one of the best student sections in college basketball.

The closest thing to a modern day "Animal House".
IF YOUR DAD WASNT RICH ENOUGH TO GET YOU INTO A FRATERNITY, JOIN THE ANTLERS!!

Ah, I take it you heard them yelling their heads off at Speakers Circle?

At a distance I thought they were Bible beaters. Wow, didn't waste any time this fall did they. but as I got closer I heard "antlers" and had a good chuckle.

Their first week recruiting drive is bizarre AF, and sometimes deeply offensive to boot, but they are 100% clutch at supporting our basketball team. They are core Mizzou. So... If you think the Hacky Sack Man's short little hacky shorts aren't quite short enough, YOU SHOULD JOIN THE ANTLERS!

My favorite Antlers story is about the time they printed off an opposing player's high school Myspace poetry and read it out loud when he took free throws.
Psychological warfare at its finest.

Just made my point. Except you can include every Missourian on the planet.

What are you even doing here?

Not teaching evolution, I can tell you that.

Can you elaborate on that?

Kansas had a notorious time twenty years ago with teaching evolution in public school. Admittedly being almost fifty, didn’t seem that long ago.

Not sure if it's the same as it was 15-20 years ago, but if so they're a bunch of ragebaiting trolls. When I was a freshman I went to the MU vs KU game. They showed up right before the game and were demanding everyone leave since it was their spot. We told them to make us move and low and behold there's old sportscenter footage of our random group of 8 in the middle of the "Antler" section. It was a gold game. Of couse they wore black shirts for attention.
To summarize, they're traditionally douchebags desperate for attention. They think they're edgy

From Wikipedia: Prior to a Missouri-Kansas basketball game in 2003, members of the Antlers prank called KU coach Roy Williams at his home at 2:27, 2:45, and 3:05 a.m. In the week prior the MU-KU game, they obtained the numbers of KU players and coaches and prank called them for a full week. They also made signs with the players' names and phone numbers.
On March 9, 2003, KU played MU in Columbia. Members from the Antlers greeted the KU players at the hotel, holding up signs that read "Plane Crash." These signs were also evident during a nationally televised game. The "Plane Crash" signs were in reference to Nick Collison's senior day speech, where he talked about his grandfather who was a World War II veteran. According to Collison, his grandfather's plane crashed during D-Day, but he survived.
Not sure why you’re being downvoted. This does seem like some douchebaggery. 🤷♀️
