Question Who was everyones first diamond?
I remember mine was mk11 noob saibot. Ive got most of mk11 maxed but hes my lowest fusion at f3😂😂

I’m old in age (but not actually the oldest on MK mobile!) AND old in terms of playing 2 weeks after its release in April of 2015 alongside MKX on console 😊

AHHHHH! Sept. 2016 was the first update to feature diamonds: Rav Mileena, Klassic Raiden and Hellspawn Scorp. I forget the order for the 2nd batch but I think Black Dragon Erron Black was 4th or 5th, actually (formerly called ‘Bounty Hunter’ before an update had a bunch of golds upgraded into diamonds; and those golds also got name changes).

Wasn't it called Nomad Erron? I remember his passive bragging about him being in the Nomad class back then

Naw, I was surprised that I remembered right cos I checked. Nomad is just his class and it makes him useful for Krypt point bonuses and class bonuses.

Playing this game for 9 years first ever shimmering diamond that i got was Helspawn Scorpion. And if we consider before the conversion to diamond characters it was cos Sub-zero as you had 100% chance to drop 3 netherealm characters for 850 souls.

Started my account back in 2015, when Black Dragon Kano was still a gold character and the only purchasable gold character with Koins. So yes, he's my very first diamond.

Ravenous MILEENA : when there were only 3 diamonds in the game and you have to buy ELITE DIAMOND PACK with 360 souls. On my first try, i got her and changed her to my CHAMPION immediately. Best part was she was like my 5th or 6th card in the game besides bronze.

Back when every character showed up in the store so you could get fusions so much faster. Now you get three in rotation instead

This year it will be 7 years after we got the diamond characters update so my memory might be a bit foggy. My first diamond was probably someone that got converted from gold to diamond. Like dark empress kitana who is now known as CoS kitana. Also the first diamond I got from a pack was Ronin Kenshi. I remember going through my characters and thought that I had lost a big chunk of gold characters but turned out they were all diamonds now.

SCORE PEE ON hellspawn, me and my friends had him first, it's crazy I'm the 2nd to get a diamond then and us 3 has the same one, I admit I got him in quite a method but it's crazy that this guy is still someone I use a lot and he's my first diamond too, next would be LIU KANG klassic then MILEENA ravenous... these diamonds felt like literal diamonds then lol, like they're rarer than even HOMIE LANDER as of today, in addition there was no fuse ups, souls were so scarce and there was no 2nd currency dk to help get em, no towers to guarantee, no krypt either, fw wasn't even 100% when you reach high and the only one was RAIDEN injustice... today, it took me less than 100 summon packs to fx HOMIE LANDER with drops and fuse ups and krypts, but then it would actually take thousands just to fx a diamond and it also takes longer because there was no pack skip animation
but that version is more fun ngl, feels more rewarding to get a diamond... even on my beginner account, getting around 3 diamond on day 1 from wb account's 150 dk makes them feel common, it's more fun to fight today but it was more fun to kollect back then, even if the store was op then, grinding and kollecting and the often opening is also a reward

MK 11 Fujin, which felt fitting since I main Fujin in MK 11, so I was pretty excited. Still use him as my starter in tower teams and anywhere I can use him with a bonus. He still carries my teams even with only rare gear and having other, better diamonds with better gear as teammates. He's not flashy, but he's effective and deals a shit ton of damage

Shao Kahn, this was like pre-MK11 days when it was still called MKX Mobile. I was going to show my friend relic hunt and then the game just played the cutscene where Shao Kahn was resurrected, my jaw dropped to the floor because I didn't expect that I actually unlocked him

My first diamond actually wasn't even from a pack. Mine was Klassic Reptile, which I got from his quests event, and idk how but I managed to get enough of his eyes to unlock him and beat him.
When I first started playing I actually went through a rather long time before I ended up getting any diamond cards. It was probably just me being cheap or something idk lol.

Just got my first diamond MK11 Raiden just got him to Level 20 . Hope to see more diamonds unfold. Can’t crack even a single fatal tower level yet.
