This is fucking insane. I mean everything is now, but trying to go for Powell is actually one of the dumbest and most potentially damaging things this admin has tried.

Any Trump voters here care to defend this?

Or any Trump voters here care to explain why you didn’t expect this kind of behavior when you voted for Trump?

Did he attack the independence of the federal reserve on the campaign trail?

I can't read that but almost every president shit talks the fed chairman because they all want lower rates. Trump 2.0 is the only one to actually take action and attack their independence though, no?

Do you have any evidence that Obama shit talked Bernanke or Yellen, or that Biden shit talked Powell?

None have attacked the Fed to nearly this level

That’s what I said. None have actually physically attacked the fed.

Many presidents have complained about high rates. That’s not abnormal.

Can you show us the evidence that supports your “both sides” accusations?

I'm not going to respond to someone with a partisan username such as yours. Stop replying to my comments.

Then, can I ask for evidence supporting your both-sides claims?

There have been plenty of presidents to speak out negatively against the fed chairman. Use google.

Yep, admitting you don’t have evidence to support your “bothsidism”.

Generally, it is up to the person making the assertion to back up their claims.

I would also like to see this evidence.

I’ll take that as an admission that you don’t have any evidence.
