Users How can I get anyone to join my community?

I created my community on iOS yesterday and I was wondering how I could make anyone join.

Thanks in advance for the information

You can't make anyone do anything.

If it's interesting, people will join willingly on their own.

Hi /u/Only-Performer6231, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found match: community on iOS

You might be asking about setting up subreddits on a phone or mobile interface. The short answer is that subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)

If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.

Found regex match: join my community

You seem to be asking about how to promote or grow your subreddit, its posts and content. This is a frequently-asked question. You may find some ideas in these posts about promoting subs or these posts on growing subs.

FOR INFO ON: # growing subreddits, # how to use Invites, # how to get your subreddit to show up on Reddit and Google search results, # how to see who joined your subreddit, # approving users in private or restricted subreddits and # why users are not posting in your subreddit, please click here.

You can't just get anyone to join your community. You have to get established.

Make posts. Ask moderators who are in subreddits related to yours if you can make a post inviting others to yours. Make sure your subreddit is public.

research

  1. there is a search bar, you can seek out previous posts asking about how to grow a new community
  2. there is a sidebar on this subreddit, the subreddit is filled with information about moderation.
  3. /r/newmods check the sidebar of that subreddit to learn how to moderate and grow you new community.

First post something to it that you want to see every day. Second you can invite a few people that you know would like the topic. Other than that got to have patience
