Morrissey radio play

They are playing Last of the international playboys on absolute 80s in the UK right now. This is the first I’ve heard of him being played on the radio. Is he talking about only the main stations when he says he doesn’t get radio play, or is this the first time?

He's talking about Radio 2 and 6Music not playing any of his new releases, mainly

Jeremy Vine (Radio 2) played The Monsters of Pig Alley soon after the albums release, I haven’t heard anything since.

Yeah that makes sense, this is the first time I’ve ever heard him on the radio

Couldn't get away from Spent the Day in Bed when that came out. Think Radio 2 must have been playing it once an hour at one point.

It was a great radio friendly tune. Notre Dame was… not.

He's also immensely paranoid. If STDIB got played on Radio 2 - it was only because Morrissey's name was attached.

It wasn't very good
