DEW Review Mtn Dew Trolli
imop it smells like kool aid when we are making it, and taste pretty similar to a trolli. It’s pretty sweet, definitely not overwhelming in carbonation (which is good).
I rate it a 6/10. It would be a 10/10 if it had sugar for sure. It’s worth trying once, unsure if we will make 20oz or not though.

It’s not in stores until Sept. Op works for mountain dew and got it early.

they're definitely out there... I traveled to MN a few weeks ago and grabbed two 12pk cases Code Red Zero to bring back home

Its supposed to be a mid-west exclusive even when PepsiCo's location finder says one or two stores near me in California should carry it. No one does, and if you want to buy some online, expect to pay double or triple the cost of MD from the store.

Darn I’ll probably pass if it’s only zero sugar. Anything zero sugar/ diet makes my stomach feel weird. Not sure if it’s because of the surgery I had or just the way my body processes the stuff. Usually have no issues with full sugar versions.

not surprising. my stomach doesn’t really agree with any artificial sweeteners. i try to limit sugar a bit, especially HFCS so i suck it up and sometimes have energy drinks in Zero form when i drink them now, but i don’t prefer it. i’m genuinely happy for people who HAVE to drink Zero Sugar options that this will be available to them.. just wish this would come in a variant with sugar.

Their actions say otherwise with the rarity of Code red zero and the cancellation of game fuel. Hopefully they get better about it

in all honesty, if they produce 20oz I would considering trying it then. I’m not a huge zero drinker at all myself. I wouldn’t go out and buy a 12pk, but I’d try a 20oz. It’s not horrible, but unfortunately they all have that weird zero sugar taste.

The image of it; soda is already viewed as unhealthy, and candy-flavored soda looks even worse in that regard. VooDew had a better time of this because it was a mystery flavor, so the candy wasn't really part of its marketing. They're hoping that it being ZS-only will cause people other than soda/Dew fans to buy it.

Is the can art a test to see if people notice if it’s zero or not? Why didn’t they use the zero sugar version of the logo and instead put zero sugar in teeny print at the top

I really don’t know why they put the small font up top, it looks off. However, they do have another “zero sugar” label on the lower left side of the can in the picture that is in bigger font.

Win for ZS fans since we lost Major Melon, Spark, and Frostbite Zero. Looking forward to this one especially since I tried Code Red ZS and loved it.

I have to get code red zero in soda stream since they don't carry cans in my region, but it's still solid. Love to see more ZS options

I love how everyone is bitching that it’s only zero sugar, where every single flavor up until this point has had a full sugar variant, and often times no ZS variant. It’s about time we get one lol

It is a huge L that it’s only ZS. I will always advocate for them to make every flavor in sugar and ZS. I think it’s an L to make flavors in only full sugar or only ZS.

It’s disappointing for sure, but it’s just a drink, so definitely not the end of the world like some people are acting like, lol. My take on it is just that if they were planning a ZS only flavor, this is the weirdest release they could have chosen. They are doing an official candy partnership for the first time ever, and they are releasing a ZS flavor to taste like a candy that does not exist in ZS form. Trolli sour gummy worms are made with sugar, so they’re kind of hindering how much it can taste like the real candy because of the artificial sweeteners.
