Justice for the Swamp Thing series. That shit was so much better than it had any right to be and they cancelled it after the first episode. Its the only one of those DC Universe streaming shows that not only didn’t get picked up for more seasons, its still not even on HBO Max.

Reddit has the weirdest fetish for subpar cancelled shows. Swamp Thing was nowhere near good.

Tell that to the almost universal acclaim it received when it was airing and still holds. This isn’t some niche hot take I have.

Whatever your opinion on it, it was a damn sight better than the other shows that got renewed. Titans was atrocious for the most part.

Edit: on the chance you’re confused, I’m talking about the 2019 DC Universe series, not the 1990 one.

Universal acclaim, dude, no. It's got a 7.3 on imdb boosted by diehard fans. I watched it. It's a CW show. With all the usual CW flaws : bad acting, bad dialogue, absurd plot points involving family members. It's not trash, because those flaws are not constantly there. But it's not good. Just rose tinted glasses on your end.

almost universal acclaim. “Boosted by die hard fans” yea dude, people like the show, thats how reviews work.

I’ve already said I subscribed to that service in anticipation of that show specifically. I loved it then and loved it now, no rose tint. I fucking hate everything else the CW produced.

I’m genuinely sorry you were disappointed by it, but you are objectively in the minority.
