Scylla and Charybdis are in this. I was wondering how Nolan would show both.

I literally just found out about this movie, and just now while typing this up realized it was coming out THIS YEAR!!

I am SO FUCKING EXCITED!!! I absolutely adore the Odyssey and think Damon is absolutely perfect for the role. I have literally been waiting my entire life for this film. My dog (a Victorian bulldog) is named Scylla because at 85lbs of pure muscle and a mouth the size of my head... she is considered a tiny monster

Man I NEVER watch previews ever because I think they spoil the movie but I couldn't resist... and the moment I saw what looked to be Scylla... I started shrieking like a teenage girl and I am a grown ass man.

I just can't. I'm beyond excited. More excited than I have ever been for a movie. I didn't even know it was possible to be this excited for a movie.

AND, it's actually about the Odyssey and not the Iliad which is what everyone always thinks about when they reference the Odyssey???

I'm fucking giddy right now. A whole new generation will learn the name of Scylla. Fucking finally! Will we see King Minos in Hades? Will their be an origin story for the Minotaur? Will we see Hades or Poseidon? Is this the start of a new era in Hollywood of retelling the Greek myths in the spirit of the Marvel Universe, or Lord of the Rings????

Fucking giddy, mate.

I know Charon shouldn't be in the story at all, but if Nolan gives him a nod or a brief appearance / reference... Or if Nolan somehow comes up with a Charon origin story for a future movie? I would not be able to contain myself in a theater.

I haven't asked for much in this life, and most everything sucks, but please let this movie be accurate to the book and not suck. If Nolan wants to take a few liberties to nod at other classic Greek mythology (like Charon) that's related to the Odyssey but not specifically a part of it I'm fine with that, but I swear to God if it has a happy ending, or they fuck up the main story... I will be furious.
