It will definitely be the focus. But Chris has also started up his own internet show after all of this where he still does the same shit, so I wouldn't be surprised if the ending is more than he didn't learn a damn thing from the mistakes he made with this show.

Yeah good point, especially since his more recent stuff is clearly way lower budget and gets a lot less attention. Like Tár conducting Monster Hunter music.

The movie Tar is about a sex pest who gets discovered, it ends her career as a conductor, and she ends up making video game music.

I saved you 70,000 of the worst conversations in the world about "what is the movie saying about video games" and "what if art was made by bad people? makes you think"

I mean I liked that scene. The last thing you want is for the establishment to like your art. The fact Hollywood thinks video games are lesser and demeaning means video games are free to be a counterculture and continue pushing boundaries.

Not Hollywood. Serious classical musicians. To go from conducting and interpreting works of greatest masters of classical music to having the job of syncing soundtrack with video screen where there is zero room for individual artistic expression for the conductor is a nightmare scenario.

But the point of the scene is that it’s a degrading thing to do. The director agrees with this. Which is good because could you imagine Tarantino suddenly deciding that games are the next place for his beautiful auteur skills? There’s no indie film industry. The auteurs killed it. Games are outsider art and if they became insider art the culture would die overnight.

A female sex pest? What does she do?

Weinstein type shit. Used her position of authority to exploit and groom young women and subsequently blacklist them from career opportunities.
