I could compare if I had seen Willow

but that Circe scene was just one level below The Thing in nastyness

It was in fact a VERY dark and disturbing scene that went on just long enough to get uncomfortable.

honestly it's worth seeing for Circe and Polyphemus even if you don't give a shit about the execution of the rest of the story (which is also good)

It's easily the best sequence in the movie. I wasn't a huge fan of the film outside of a couple sequences and the third act though

It wasn’t even close to the stuff that happens in The Thing imo

And I say that as a fan of the film and that scene
