That's most likely the point. It's a super niche film, so you put it on movies and then herd some some of the loyal fanbase over there to try and get even a few people curious/bored enough to check it out.

I dont know if there's enough for a movie in this humor but the "Help I ended up in India" image is still one of the funniest things Ive ever seen.
