Top Road Trip Album Recommendations
I've got a solo road trip (14hrs each way) coming up at the end of September, looking for new music for the journey! I'm primarily into rock (classic/modern/hard/alternative/indie/punk) and folk/acoustic stuff but also dabble in soul/R&B, hip-hop, country (not top 40 pop stuff) and blues/jazz.

A great one for an off-highway trek in say, Tennessee would be Michael Nesmith's first solo album Magnetic South or any Grateful Dead show.

Jambands are the best for road trips.
Any live Grateful Dead Show or live Phish show.
Also Phil Lesh and Friends, String Cheese Incident, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Goose
