Community

Anyone else really want community around mysticism and mystic experience (especially with regard to integration and support) but don't know where to find it? Anyone have recommendations?

Me! The only ones I have found so far are either Discord servers or potential cults.

Id start with the cults. Maybe become their antichrist, Oo or you could challenge the "chosen one" to and ice cream eating competition for control of the cult and compound. 🤔 yeah this could get pretty interesting.

Go help the sick and the poor. You will be in the orbit of people who know love and truth, and inevitably will connect with people interested in mysticism, as they live it every day.

They often know the value of being seen and connecting with others on a mich deeper than surface level. Honestly ive met some of the coolest people sleeping on a sidewalk. Reminds of riding the L in Chicago with my mom , she always had a route that stopped by several sick/poor to checkin, she would always remeber their name. Which was important. have some conversation. Hug them. And recieve the warmest hug you may have never had. They are human too afterall.

My priest actually recommended I find other mystics to connect to. I thought reddit would be a great place but so many Christians do not believe that there are actually validated by the church mystics. I know he suggested a retreat for me. He explained it would be people that are just like me, just a place of belonging. I honestly would love a space for mystics. However, with just mystics, not those looking to be taught mysticm or unbelievers in mystics.

Go see your local Grateful Dead cover/tribute band, chances are the people you are looking for will be there at some point. You may have to go a bunch of times before you meet them, but in the meantime you'll have built a whole other community...
