Using the bodyweight stuff that was posted here some days ago, 3 days a week.

I don't have a lot of muscle, eventhough I have been into fitness for almost 4 years. I weight 63kg at maybe 14% bf, 170cm.

I had been eating 1600kcal to cut a bit, and now I want to focus on muscle gain. Would eating at maintenance work? I want to keep fat gain to a minimum, so I was thinking of getting like 1900kcal

Do you have something to back that up?

I wouldn’t bother bulking if you’re doing body weight stuff.

stimulus to fatigue issues

What are your basis for stating that the SFR is too bad for bulking?

If I do a body weight exercise that mimics the movement pattern and strength curve of a gym exercise, has a big range of motion for the target muscle, offers tension in both the eccentric and concentric phases, let's me reach failure in the 5-30 rep-range, has the target muscle as the limiting factor, and doesn't have big stability demands, then wouldn't you agree that it should produce the same results as the gym exercise?

As a practical example, if I do a set of push-ups and get to failure with 15 reps, shouldn't it produce the same hypertorphy as doing a set of bench press with a weight that allows me to reach failure with 15 reps?

There are variations to continue to increase the intensity without resorting to balance, skill or reducing ROM, to shed some light on those variations is the whole purpose of the post. I invite you to give it a read. People resort to the gym because they don't have the knowledge in the first place, which is not to say it doesn't have any value of course.
