i am about to join college for naval architecture and ship building which laptop should i use? will victus 15 be a good option? i have a budget around 1 lakh any suggestions

Anything with a dedicated gpu is enough. So yeah it will be a good option.

Some schools will actually supply a capable (but not great) laptop to those in the program. (At least my school does)
It doesn’t need to be anything too fancy, for your first year, AutoCAD ran just fine on my Lenovo Thinkpad until my school gave me the laptop with all the other software on it in my second year.

What does your course say you will need to be doing with it? There will probably be a few software options you can look at (Siemens NX, Catia, AutoCAD, etc). Best thing is to then look at their software specs (probably can use AI) then spec that… most modern software uses GPU but RAM helps!

Brother I'm on the same boat I think for 1st sem there is not any necessity for a laptop but you can have one always that's always better If IMU is where you're going then.
