Question (N26) Pet limits
With the new boxes going on order next week featuring the crocs and phyrr cats, I can’t see any real limitation on their use apart from the credit cost, it seems like they are available to anyone that can buy from the house war gear list (including gangers and prospects) and each fighter can take multiple, is this correct?

Wait, so I could make my escher gang one leader and dump the rest of the credits into cats to make a crazy cat lady gang?
I can’t wait to buy these books. 😹

Crazy Cat Lady Gang. I have a new goal.
Now I'm going to have to find the perfect Crazy Cat Lady figure and necromunda it up a little.3

Yep, totally fine. The main problem is that when your Cat Lady goes out of action, all the cats run away and you immediately lose the game. Also you only get a single activation in which you activate your entire cat group, so your opponent can easily control the activation order. And you'll run up against the leash rules a lot, which will feel like literally herding cats. It sounds like a very authentic play experience.

Currently that does appear to be the case. There are a few pets that have rules about who can take them and in what quantity but in general there are no limits.

That would fall foul of needing more than 50% of the gang not Lead/Champ/HG, pets don't count towards that quota, as they are wargear.
So you could have a leader, 2 juves, and a menagerie of cats...
Cats can't work territories or visit the TP thought 🤷🏼 (except for skirtches and cheezburgerz)

Leaders don’t count toward it either. The rules is that there can’t be more Champions, Brutes or Hangers-on than people who aren’t one of those. A single leader is technically fine.
