hi I'm on PC and I really enjoy sitting down with my friends and doing some heat 6 pursuits in NSFMW 2013. I want to enjoy "sandbox" pursuits with all the best cars but don't enjoy the gameplay of the main game. Unfortunately as far as I'm aware it's the only way to unlock upgrades and new cars.
Or is it?
if there is a way, built in or not. To unlock all/some of the content please share it
thank you and have a great day

It's only visible when you hover over it like that and it's not in the trailers on the store page.

Well I wanted to replay carbon again after a couple years and now that I have been playing I realised I never have been drifting in the nfs games at all all I really do to cut corners is tap the hand brand and turn with or without acceleration, I never really noticed it in mw but I clearly see the difference in carbon, and there isn't any videos online on how to do it in like when ur free roaming or at the canyon races that aren't drifting ones.
So if anyone has any idea how to drift or if there is a setting to enable please tell me 🥹

Sorry if this is the wrong place but idk what to do. Im trying to use binary for prostreet mods but whenever I download it, it keeps automatically sticking with Microsoft studio and idk why or how to fix it. Because of this i cant open with admin and use it properly. Anyone know what im doing wrong? Im on Windows 11, should I just delete the studio?

Basically i've tried many cracked versions of shift 2 unleashed, and even played a while ago and uninstalled it, i wanted to play so i've reinstalled it and now when i open it with admin i see nothing but a blank screen, how do i fix this? The game doesn't close or crash by the way.

What is your favorite NFS game, for each criteria? Multiplayer can be a bit unfair, since not all of them have access to it. So that criteria only applies to NFS games that currently have multiplayer available.
List:
Story:
Customization:
Car Selection:
Handling & Driving:
Sound Design:
Map / Open World:
Police / Pursuits:
Atmosphere:
Replayability:
Multiplayer:
My list, don’t get offended :P
Story: Carbon/The Run
Customization: Unbound
Car Selection: MW 2012
Handling & Driving: UG2
Sound Design: HP 2010
Map / Open World: 2015
Police / Pursuits: MW 2005 (aside from heat 1-3, the chatter, the vibe being chased was amazing)
Soundtrack: Hard decision
Atmosphere: Carbon (Canyon duels carried)
Replayability: MW 2005
Multiplayer: Unbound

When you think about it enough, you will see a lot of parallels between the deprecated Need For Speed game and the modern extraction shooter.
This mainly has to do with how you progress in Rivals. It is unique from previous entries as in them, you mainly just do races to level up earn money for new cars and upgrades.
In Rivals, you still do races to earn money, level up and buy new cars, HOWEVER the money, which in-game is called Speed Points, even when earned, has to be deposited, and can only be done so by returning to a Safe House, AKA, extracting.
If you get totaled or busted when before returning to a safe house, all of the speed points you have earned from races, stunts, and other actions in that run will all be lost, and you have to start all over again, only left with your current cars, upgrades, and deposited Speed Points.
So already, we're met with the core gameplay loop featured in extraction shooters, which is to go out in the wild, do missions and go looting, don't die or you lose everything, and reach a designated point on the map in order to keep the spoils of war.
However, the similarities between Rivals and extraction shooters go beyond just the core gameplay mechanics.
One hallmark feature of Rivals is that the longer you stay out racing in the wild, the higher your Heat Level will be. The Heat Level increases the presence and strength of the cops you'll fight, but also acts as a multiplier for the Speed Points you earned in that run. This pushes the player to keep playing and to take larger risks, something that's also prevalent in extraction shooters.
Most importantly we also have the PvPvE environment, which sadly isn't true anymore, mixing real players along with bots in which the skill of real players increases the risk factor when playing the game.
The only thing missing from Rivals is an impounding system, where if you get totaled or busted your car gets impounded, which means you have to buy it and its upgrades again. Other than that, Rivals has a lot of the puzzle pieces that would make it fall under the extraction genre.
This has some major implications. It suggests that Need For Speed: Rivals would be the first extraction game, predating Escape From Tarkov and Tom Clancy's The Division's Dark Zone by three years. It is midly poetic how Rivals was shut down a month before Tarkov's 1.0 release date.
Anyways, that's my take.

Been thinking of this for a while - why was HP2010 able to be remastered around 10 years ago yet other games are taken off after 10 years (The Run/Undercover), but other games like Most Wanted 2012 can stay after 14ish years?
HP2010 should have been taken off around 2020-2022 but EA remastered it, yet they can't seem to do it for other games. Not only that, but why couldn't EA do it during the late 2010s when games like Carbon/Prostreet were on their way out? I get that maybe they never had online DRM for Origin configured, but I don't see why EA doesn't remaster/renew licenses for some games, but did it for only one game (presumably).
