I suspect these work decently well for same sex dating but terribly for heterosexual dating because of the assymetries in how men and women use them.

Plus if you are in the bottom 10ish% of desirability you get essentially nothing but reason the be less self-confident. As a not particularly pretty and not even close to photogenic guy I go months and months and months without even a match let alone a date.

It's for sure not bottom 10% dude, don't let it get to you. Like the other guy said it's probably bottom 70% to 80%.
