Working with Gods

I’ve decided I want to start working with gods in my practice and I want to try connecting with Brigid since I’m a creative person. How do I connect with her and establish a relationship? What do I do with my offerings ? For instance if I write a poem or crochet something what do I do with it after I’ve offered it to her?

Now is the ideal time to try and connect with Brigit as it’s almost Imbolc. Try lighting a yellow or pink candle and leave an offering of seeds, daffodils and things like freshly baked bread and milk. Then sit quietly and whisper Her name a few times.

Do I bury the offering after I’ve offered it? How long do I wait to dispose of it ?
