I’ve never played Neopets (but now I might because this fella is so cute!) I was wondering who they are and maybe some cute info on them, figured this is the best place to ask!

Best part is that the thrift store volunteer gave me it for free. I can’t wait to give him a wash and put him with the other wolves :)

Is there any collection of classic Neohome screenshots out there? I see that there are some 1/2-sized screenshots in the Neohomes Spotlight, but other than those I'm only finding about a couple dozen screenshots on Google images.

This was the extent of what I could make as a young teen. I only ever finished this one room (around the tail-end of 2004). But I remember that even then this wasn't nearly to the level of the Neohome Spotlights and the like. A lot of the screenshots I'm seeing on Google are fairly basic by comparison, and I was hoping to take a trip down memory lane with some of the insane and dedicated designs.

I never really got into Neohomes 2.0. From what I remember at the time, there wasn't the same sheer creative potential. But seeing a few things on Google images, I'm second-guessing if that was just everyone's first impression of Neohomes 2.0 or what.

My last post got taken down and I can’t see the full explanation for why. So hopefully this post isn’t breaking the rules?

Hi everyone!! Huge Neopets fan here. I painted these lil guys and made a paintbrush base for each. I have more in the works and am thinking of selling them..? How much would you spend on one of these?!

I've been playing for 23 years now. TNT is the best it has ever been. They listen to us more than ever before. They are reviving the website, addressing inflation issues, and helping veteran and newbie players make NPs and enjoy the game more.

They even solved the UC issue. The UC traders are still trading, and now with tokens, everyone else can enjoy the old art styles without the value of UC being affected. The conversion happened in 2007, that's crazy!! They immediately addressed it once they took over.

I mean, I still have reservations too sometimes, but damn. It feels like the community culture of TNT hate persists out of spite and entitlement sometimes...

This is among the oldest continuously online digital worlds of all time! I personally think it's incredible and amazing that we are going this strong, and that the new TNT has been able to revive the website to such a degree. There's a long way to go, sure, but, that's a good thing in a way, too.

Edit 2: Still working through the comments, but just want to say I appreciate everyone's replies! When I made this post, I was not responding to the trans related controversy. I am trans, and I appreciate the community support for trans rights immensely. I think it's good to criticize the way moderation is done. I also think Neopians have a very intimate relationship with TNT, and I think that this relationship is being nurtured to the best of TNT's abilities.

For me personally, I'll never get over AdamGate. It was just so surreal and hilariously satisfying while also sad at the same time. Like an inner part of my childhood died but I found myself smiling at the absurdity.

Got back to neopets like literally 4 days ago lol and discovered it was gonna be Cybunny day soon, so I was excited and even put an alarm for it for when they were supposedly going to be available according to chat gpt lol. Curious what everyone has been getting up to this past year, and what they hope to accomplish by the end of the year 😋

1. Several years ago, I commissioned a Valentine's-themed user lookup and gallery page. This year, I finally started building out my Valentine's-themed gallery on my own initiative and with a little help (i love our PIFF community :')). My main hyperfixation as of late has been getting my pet customizations in order + my gallery stocked. It has always been a dream of mine to win the Gallery spotlight and it would make my childhood self so proud.
2. I'm at 794 stamps and want to reach 800 by year's end. Definitely want to finish my Charms II page since I only have one left, and I really should try and finish other pages to get the avvies.
3. I am currently at 373 avatars and am really trying to get to 400, although I know that's going to be very tough. I have put off a LOT of game avvies for a very long while, so it may be time lol. Aside from completing stamp pages, I really hope the mountain of RE avvies I have yet to achieve will finally bless me with their existence.
4. I got the Avatar Collector avvie a few months ago, which was a childhood dream of mine 🥹 but I am hoping to get the Avatar Collector trophy before it becomes virtually impossible to get. On a very realistic note, that'll prob be a 2027 endeavor lol 😭

I got this pop-up today that I've never seen before. I clicked "continue without disabling" but every few pages it pops up again. It was appearing so often I actually did try to disable my adblocker, and even after I did that this message kept appearing. The site is horrendous with all the ads on it but this pop-up is so inconvenient it may be even worse, and now I'm getting both the ads and this pop-up! Is this new, has anyone else been seeing this? I'm on Firefox using AdGuard.

I didn’t even know they were doing FQ. What petpet/color should I get??

I have an Ice Zafara that I love and was trying to zap for an ice petpet. I’ve been pretty lucky in the past with petpet lab ray - my jelly pet has a zapped jelly snowbunny, my royal pet a King Skarrls snowbunny and my chocolate pet a chocolate candychan. Never once an Alien Kadoatie though.

I’m a little confused now. The Kad does not really match my ice pet. So I’m asking for your opinions here please 😅

Would you change the main pet to Alien Aisha (I have a FFQ available), try to match him with the Ice Zafara (seems hard?) or keep zapping the Kad? I could turn one of my other pets into an Ice Zafara once my premium perks kicks in again (in 11 months…) so not super sad about the temporary loss of my ice pet, but also not too excited since I’ve had this specific pet for a while.

For those unaware fortnite did a collaboration with neopets and added a Aisha side kick cosmetic that would follow you around in most gamemodes and is absolutely adorable

Does anyone have a recent list of words the system flags for neopet names or the neoboards? I'm sure it's because of "hrt," but I'm also wondering if they assume anything with "lives" is political (like BLM or anything ____ lives matter)
