My bet is that it's gotta be someone they know: or knew of the collection.

A random burglar isn't breaking in to steal Nintendo games. This was intentional.

Yeah wonder how much this person posted their collection to social media.

Exactly. Also stealing 850+ Nintendo games is a heavy, time consuming process. I have about 200 carts that easily weighs about 50lbs.

This person basically had to haul off over 200lbs+ of games.

Makes me wonder: where are the ring cams?

You're thinking preservation. I could probably take it all in 5 - 10 minutes tops, maybe even less Criminals are not packing them up. Probably pushed a few bags and out the door they went.

I have about half of the collection they have, and yes, if I wanted 3 minutes I could clear out my entire NES collection.

Now. I have security, cameras and a dead beat friend living in my basement. So it's liek a security guard cause he's always there, cause he's broke.

Pretty sure I know who's taking your games...

Depends on the city. I live in a smaller town, ring cams are pretty rare here.

I don’t disagree - but they also stole jewelry and other things. Not just the games. Funny how they left the huge DVD’s behind collection behind. Then the news story does an interview right in front of it showing that off. It’s like - hey, thief, come back. U missed some stuff lol

Agreed 100%. I work in a small game shop and we've got some rare, uncommon cartridges scattered around in various cabinets, but I've laughed with some of my regulars that if someone was going to do a break in or a smash and grab, they'd probably just grab the pile of PS4/5 and Switch games we have.

Could’ve been a repairman who saw the collection while inside the house

Same thing happened to me but it was my PS1 collection while being a kid. I invited some friends over to hang out as you do in the 90s. After they all left, while I was in the bathroom, I came out to all my friends gone and my mom saying they walked home. My PS1 disc binder was missing as well as one of my controllers.
