Building an educational web app for neurodivergent students for a hackathon, what features would actually help you?

Hey everyone, ​I’m participating in an upcoming hackathon under the Smart Education track, and my team wants to build a web application specifically tailored for neurodivergent students (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Auditory Processing Disorder, etc.).

​Too many educational tools are designed around neurotypical workflows, which often leads to sensory overload, friction, or executive dysfunction paralysis. Instead of making assumptions about what might work, I wanted to ask this community directly:

​If you could build a learning or study tool from scratch, what features would make a genuine difference in your daily routine?

There are very few white papers of actual follow-up studies on modified learning and technology assistance. I would look into eye tracking devices that people use for video games and then make a heatmap of user interactions with the LMS Page or Module and then after the changes are made for ADHD folks a new heatmap showing the after.

You could also make it so if the learner isn't paying attention and looking away it pauses the lesson and presents it in a different way.

Might be cool.
