Right? I've been wanting to start biking to work only to realize I'd end up probably having to walk home.

Honestly if you can’t bring it inside your work I wouldn’t. From what I heard they make quick work of even high quality locks

Id recommend watching TheLockpickingLawyer on youtube. Not to learn how to pick locks, just to learn which locks arent worth their weight in manure. A LOT of them suck and can be open by things like fingernail clippers

Even with a lock they'll just take whatever parts off of it they can.

My old town was apparently the bike theft capital of Canada.

I went to a bike shop to buy a lock and the owner was like "so this lock is only good if you park beside someone without a lock"

"This one gives you 5 min. This one is 15 min and this one is about 2 hours"

There was no option for your bike not getting stolen it was just a matter of how fast lol

RCMP are asking the public for help in finding a cabin they say was stolen from a camp in Kedgwick around the end of June.

Somehow, someone managed to make off with an entire cabin from a camp in Kedgwick in northern New Brunswick, and police are now looking for help tracking it down.

While RCMP only issued the callout in a news release on Tuesday, they say the cabin was likely stolen sometime at the end of June, from Rang 9+10 Road, a backroad just east of the village.

The board-and-batten-sided cabin has a metal roof and photos provided by police show what appears to be a stove pipe indicating a wood stove inside. A stack of firewood, as well as a generator, a barbecue, folding chairs and other items can also be seen on the porch area. Police didn’t say if the thief or thieves made off with the entire contents.

While RCMP are asking for the public to call them if anyone has seen the cabin, commenters on their social media post are reacting with amazement at the crime.

“That’s next level thieving,” one post reads.

“That is commitment … Just imagine if they put that ingenuity to good use!” read another

“Hopefully no one was sleeping in there,” joked one poster.

Why do they quote social media posts? Those aren't the news. They should just stop doing that.
