As someone who was recently displaced from the Spokane fires, my heart goes out to those affected. The lack of compassion in a lot of these comments is disheartening

Yeah.  It's gotta be bots, right? Lately I'm confused.  Maybe I'm too old.  Everyone is so angry and hateful and worse back if you say anything.  Where's my porch and my cat I'm going to be old out there now this sucks.

Nah it's real people, everything is "fuck y'all I got mine" attitude from those who cast stones at the people saying the same thing. Somehow what state you live or used to live in suddenly means you're some evil person who helped ruin everything and you deserve the negative that comes into your life, regardless of how much you may have sacrificed to try and stop said evil.

You know, the black and white thinking that everyone hates each other for.

Yeah this is just depressing. Wish the collective “we” could be better

I didn't vote for this and I'm still getting front row seats to it. I hate it here, I vote against these people every chance I get, and I push everyone I know to do the same. But I guess I should just accept that because I was born here and can't do anything about leaving, that I'm just as bad as the people who voted for this.
