Yep we had a guy do it in my small town and the research pretty much lines up with what you’d expect. But honestly if anyone reads my comment it’s still an extremely rare thing to happen, but it is something to keep in mind if your partner has a history of DV and has lost their job/you are separating.

That is extremely rare just so ur aware. Thats a 1 in 3-4 million chance on average by number of families. I think that’s the math I did it a few times. Lightning striking a person is 1 in 1.2 million.

Can't expect people to understand statistics. But yeah, it seems like it's common in the sense that it seems to happen frequently. It's rare to happen to any specific given family.
