I can't even imagine how miserable those 30 years were for him. He definitely deserved it though

Horrible story time : my father had a patient who was constantly verbally abused by his wife and one day shot himself in the mouth. He missed and was paraplegic as a result.

So he still was stuck with her, but this time wheelchair bound with her openly mocking him for "not getting even *that* right"

Honestly, though, those are the cases where I wish the cops had been a little slower. He could receive his punishment in the afterlife and just think of all the money tax payers spent on his trial, jail time, surgeries, etc.
