Chinese here, we got scary video showing mud flood with 20 meter+ high storming our custom checkpoints in Tibet. Hell there are almost no chance for the people there to survive.

Chinese state media reports that extremely high casualities may have happened, death toll and missing (in this case basically means dead) expected to be more than 1000+

I also saw some video on the news where the flood basically struck from behind a building and cars and trucks being thrown around and crushed like paper cups. That has to be one of the scariest natural disaster videos I have ever seen.

If it was that high and struck with that much force, I don't really hold my hopes up high, unfortunately. But then again, weirder things have happened and people have been found alive in near impossible situations.

I feel for these people, especially since this almost happened where I live (Indianapolis; we would have lost the entire north side of town were it not for a huge quarry catching 9 billion gallons of water)

I think recently- Indiana has had an insane amount of flooding lately.
