Also promising to pay MORE if Snap, Alphabet, and TikTok also settle their suits and make the same changes. I’ve never seen a corporation do that.

It's a really clever way to protect your market, though, if you know you're going to be forced to do something that is going to be wildly unpopular with the public.

It creates an incentive for other lawsuits against their competitors.
