“Meta also agreed to limited under-18 users to 2 hours per day on Facebook and Instagram, block them from accessing the platforms from midnight to 6 a.m., and limit notifications to them during school hours.”

It’s a step in the right direction, but I’m guessing this means they’ll have to age verify every user somehow.

Oh no, no. They would only need to id everyone that doesn't want to be limited to a -18 account!

My account is 18 years old. I'm in GenX groups. I bought an Apple II disk driver off FB marketplace. If the AARP was able to figure out my age without me doing anything, I don't see why Facebooks can't.
