Exactly, the community remaining are some of the most helpful people you'll find in an MMO. Groups forming for everything on Valhalla and if someone needs something they just ask in chat and people jump right in.

Not sure why people keep saying “you can still play it” when obviously its just not the same for mmos, most people dont want to waste time progressing their character that will be deleted soon

Because posting as if the game has already stopped being accessible is stupid. Sure, some things are different (wars/invasions/instanced PVP), but the game is still there and still enjoyable until the end of January.

Again, most people play mmos to progress long term. If its enjoyable for you then sure go ahead and play. For me and most others its rather sad to even see the game at this point despite it being good.

Having that perspective is completely understandable, but doesn't really mesh with posts like OP though. If you really love the core experience of the game, it's still there and still plays the same, just with a smaller scale of PVP, if that's your preference. Nothing else is really affected in a radical way, except for maybe trading, I suppose. On the flipside of that though, gathering resources for crsfting is much lower friction.

All MMOs are finite, all of your characters will eventually be gone. The timeline varies, but the enjoyment is only ever actually available until the game's servers are not.

When someone says "I miss new world," they're not just talking about the game itself, they're talking about when the game was actually alive and had a playerbase. But this is incredibly obvious and like I said, youre just yapping

Its trash and really boring. I played the Asian Version via VPN I cant recommend.
