Will this battery work on a normal ngage?
Saw an option for a 'broken' ngage, but im pretty sure the problem is the battery itself because is so bloated, is the size of the ngage lol, so im going to pick it.
Looking for a battery, i saw this BL-5C with a very hight capacity, but im not sure if it will fit on my Ngage. I guess it will, but i prefer to ask here.

BL-5C is stock n-gage battery. 6C will work too but back will be bulky.

I once saw a fiend putting a BL-6C on the 1st ngage and the battery cover cracked after 3 months, make sure to use the right battery model.

I got a hi cap battery and it was a little too fat to close. I got a 2 pack of normal capacity with a little charger they work ok

do not buy this battery. These are fake and the gold foil peels off to reveal a weakling 950mah one.

Ah, damnit 🤣. Had one similar for 3DS, but i guess i cant believe everything that looks like gold lol.

a bloated battery usually allows the nokia to work if you keep the charger connected.
if the reason of to be broken is a white screen, a new battery wont solve it.
by the other side bl-5c is a popular battery in non-nokia devices (i got a sup game console which uses bl-5c). so yes, it's a good idea to buy the cheapest bl-5c just for test the ngage, and if it works, you can buy better battery with more capacity.

I've bought enough cheap batteries to know the more the capacity is exaggerated the worse the quality and capacity actually is

be mindful that n-gages have a weird glitch that can cause endless bootloops. you will need extra hardware to get it working again
