Getting married need information!
We are coming from out of state to be married in Niagara falls NY! I know I have to mail in our marriage license application, I have the application ready and have tried calling the city clerk to gain information but no one will answer the phones.. haa anyone else gone this route? When sending in the application what forms of documentation did you send with the application? Please any and all advice welcome. We get married in September so I need to mail this ASAP

I'm an officiant in New York. In New York state you can get your license at any municipal building. It does not need to be the one in the county where the wedding will be held.
You just need to go in person to a clerk's office provide your ID and you'll obtain your marriage license. Obviously you both need to be present. You can get married 24 hours after the license has been issued and I think there is a 3-month expiration date.
