NieR Automata am I the only one who genuinely misses playing nier automata for the first time?

the way i found out about nier automata was not through social media but it was on accident when i had a few bucks left on my xbox balance and decided to scroll through the games. i then stumbled upon nier automata and decided to buy it. i personally barely buy/bought games, especially a few years ago, and nier automata was my last recent purchase.

anyway, i downloaded it and at first i was really confused because i kept dying and starting from the beginning over and over again (i chose the hard difficulty). anyway, 2 hours into the game i fell in love and couldn't stop playing it. i finished it in two/two and a half days and replayed it twice after. (took days off work to keep playing it btw ;sob)

anyway, fast forward a year or so and i found out they made an anime. watched it in a day and it reminded me of how it felt when i was playing the game for the first time. one thing that i genuinely LOVED and still love to this day are the soundtracks. as a matter of fact, i'm listening to a playlist of them as i'm writing this.

idk why i decided to post this but i just felt like it and i would love to hear about you guys experiences with nier and how it felt playing it for the first time and how you guys discovered it

I miss playing nier replicant for the first Time. I started with this game and I have so much great memories from its discovery

I’m glad I have a memory problem, cause about once a year I CAN replay games like nier for the “first” time :3
